This displays the Go To Line modeless dialog, so you can jump to a specified line within the currently display multi-line edit control. |
When the dialog is first displayed, the current line number is shown.
To jump to a specified line, enter the number and press the "Go" push button.
This facility is useful when you have a list of compiler errors in an Esl Log. As you jump to the specified line, Esl Edit records the current line in a stack so you can always return to the point before you jumped.
As this is a modeless dialog, you can leave this dialog open whilst you edit, although the Close push button will close the window when required.
