The Edit .Ini Pushbutton opens a file editing window containing the Ecs configuration file, ESLCMSRV.INI that will be used by your ESL applications. The editing window includes standard editing functions:

These functions have the same behaviour as with a Windows notepad.
There are the following File functions that can be used on the configuration file:
•Revert |
Restores the content of the edit window |

•Open |
Allows other configuration files to be edited |
|
•Save |
Saves the current file to disk |
|
•Save As |
Allows the current file to be saved as a different name and/or directory |
|
•Close |
Closes the edit window |
To aid the setting of the WinTitle parameter within the configuration file, the following tools are available:
•List |
Displays the Window Titles dialog, so the Emulator window can be found |

•Test |
Use the saved WinTitle parameter(s) to control the Emulator's Window appearance. |
Whenever the edit window is closed, if the content has been modified, then a message is displayed giving the opportunity to save the file.
If the configuration file is saved, the latest changes are loaded into the ECS library, so you can immediately see the effect of your amendments.
