Use these menu choices to create, maintain, and compile SQL Access Modules (SAMs).
Creates a new SAM.

Opens an existing SAM.

Lets you view or change the database and description associated with a SAM.

Verifies all SAM statements with DB2.
|

Verifies all SAM statements with DB2, compiles generated ESL action routines into a specified file, creates the SAM bind file, and creates the database access package (if checked in the Bind Options dialog box).

Displays the most recent DB/Assist log.

Lets you set options that control the creation of a bind file or package.

Lets you: 1.specify an action to be taken when certain SQL exception conditions are encountered, or 2.add the SAM name to all action routines.

Saves the current SAM to disk.
|

Saves the current SAM to disk with a new name.
|
|
Creates a file with all the variable definitions used in the SAM.
|
|
Exits DB/Assist.
