Verify choice Verifies the SQL Access Module (SAM) by performing the following actions:

•Registers all referenced variables linked to each statement with DB2.

•Checks that the syntax of each SQL statement in the SAM is valid according to DB2. This gives the same result as selecting the Validate push button while building a statement.

•Ensures that a variable of the appropriate type is linked to each input or output column in a statement.

During verification, a Log window appears.

Note: When you compile a SAM by selecting SQL Access Module> Compile, the SAM is automatically verified.
