The SQL Editor window has the following push buttons:
Cut |
Cuts the highlighted text from the SQL Editor window to the clipboard.

Copy |
Copies the highlighted text from the SQL Editor window to the clipboard.
|
Paste |
Pastes the contents of the clipboard into the SQL Editor window at the cursor position.
|
Undo |
Deletes the most recent text you added to the SQL Editor window. To reverse the last Undo operation and restore the statement to its previously saved state, select Undo again immediately.

Validate |
Verifies that the contents of the SQL Editor window is valid SQL syntax according to DB2. If you type a SQL statement into an empty SQL Editor window, you must select Validate to enable the SQL Statement button bar and corresponding menu choices. Automatic validation occurs when you: 1.select SQL Access Module> Verify or > Compile; 2.open a statement construction dialog box. 3. |
