ESL's SQL Executable support allows you to develop applications that access IBM DB/2, Microsoft SQL Server, any Sybase SQL Server, or ORACLE. Support for these databases is provided through a local application for executing SQL database statements. (The following table lists the names of each of the Executables and the databases with which you will use them.) In addition, the ESL SQL Executable provides commands that allow you to execute specific database services, customize the interface to the local application, and retrieve informational messages about specific SQL statements.
