The SQL Executable support executes five types of commands:

Note that some of the commands described here are included for compatibility with other SQL Executables. Although these commands might not be required for a particular environment, they are accepted by the SQL Executable for portability purposes. These commands, along with their behavior in the appropriate environment, are noted where applicable.
In addition, case and white space are not relevant for direct, inquiry, and configuration command names, except as noted under specific commands.
