Use the Tool Definitions dialog to set up the entries in the Tools menu and then start the tools from the Tools menu.
Tool menu entries
This shows the list of currently configured tools by the menu item text for each configured tool.
Menu text
This field contains the text of the menu item to be displayed in the Tools menu.
Use an ampersand (&) prior to the character you want to be the mnemonic for the menu item.
Directory
This field contains the default directory where QuikStep will start the configured tool.
Exe path
This field contains the name of the executable file to be run. If the file is not in the PATH environment variable, the full path should be specified here.
Parameters
This field contains the parameters that will be passed to the tool when it is started.

The following macros can be used in the Directory and Parameters fields:

%Fx macros are only valid when the "Disable if source view not active" checkbox is checked.
Prompt for additional parameters:
When this checkbox is checked, the tool will prompt for additional parameters when the menu entry is selected.
New
This button opens the standard FileOpen dialog to search for the executable for a new menu item.
Test
This button allows you to test the currently selected item. NOTE: Doesn't work if you are using %Fx macros.
Delete
Delete the selected tool entry.
Move up
Moves the tool menu entry up the list.
Move down
Moves the tool menu entry down the list.
