ESLHELP Subroutine

Display the extended help panel for the current region.

call HelpDisplayExtendedHelp( )

Description

Use this subroutine to invoke the operating system help facility to display the extended help panel for the ESL region with the focus.

If the ESL application does not have the focus, nothing happens and no error is reported.

If the ESL region with the focus does not have an extended help ID, its ancestry is searched.

No error is generated if no extended help panel ID is found.

Errors

HLPERR_HELP_NOT_ACTIVE - The ESL program has not initialized the help system by defining the help library to be used.

HLPERR_HELPAPP -  The Windows Help application could not be found.
