ESL for Windows 3270/5250 Support requires a profile or configuration file named ESLCMSRV.INI. This file must reside in the PATH. ESLCMSRV.INI contains information about various 3270/5250 emulators supported by ESL for Windows (ESLCMSRV.DLL).

If ESL fails to locate the ESLCMSRV.INI file in the PATH, the following default values will be used:

•HllapiDLLName=PCSHLL32

•HllapiDLLType=32

•LogPath=%USERPROFILE%

•LogFlags=7

Note. The default is to create an ECS log file, as this may help identify why the configuration file has not be found, therefore enabling the correction of the problem.
