You can use the change item text statement to dynamically change the text of any item in a region's action bar to the value of any ESL string. However, the item's definition retains the original text. If another item is created using this item's definition, the text will appear as it was when the item was defined.

This action can also be applied to an item that has been created in the action bars of a class of regions.
