The border specification allows the boundaries of the shape to be drawn in a color that is different from the color with which the boundaries are filled. You specify a border color with the keyword border preceded by a color value; for example:

solid blue shape

    red border

    boundary ...

        ... end shape

This shape is drawn in red and filled with blue. If the border (and border color) is omitted, the shape is both drawn and filled with blue. The only logical use of border is when solid is also specified. Note that the boundaries are drawn in the border color even if solid is not specified. For example:

blue shape

    red border

    boundary ...

    ... end shape

draws every part of this shape in red - none are drawn in blue.
