To change the help ID of an ESL object or pull-down item at runtime, use the make helpid or make extended helpid action statements.

The help ID of a pull-down item is attached to, and is an attribute of, the action bar template or the stand-alone item template. If the help ID is changed within an action statement, it is changed in the template definition and everywhere it is referenced.
