You can use the production compiler switch -helpid to maintain help panel IDs across ESL and Windows help source files. You should use this switch by itself (not with the -terp compiler switch). Using - helpid along with the -e compiling option prints the help ID of every statically defined ESL object to the errorlog. Objects without help IDs are also indicated. Compiled code is still produced.
