The ESL Business Graphics module, called the BGraph module, is comprised of a set of predefined variables and action routines that enable you to easily convert tables of numbers into several different kinds of graphs:
LINE GRAPHS
Stacked line graph
Standard line graph
Standard line graph with symbols
Stepped line graph
Surface line graph
HI-LO-CLOSE GRAPH
PIE GRAPH
BAR GRAPHS
Standard bar graph
3-D (three-dimensional) bar graph
Overlapping bar graph
3-D overlapping bar graph
Stacked bar graph
3-D stacked bar graph
SCATTER GRAPH
You specify the region in which the graph is to be placed, the data to be plotted, and the type of graph to be displayed. The module then creates the graph.
Note: All text drawn by the BGraph module is drawn using font "medium" by default. For information on specifying alternate fonts, see Customizing a Graph.
You can optionally specify:
A title for the graph and axes
Automatic or manual axis boundaries
Labels for ticks and pie wedges
Colors to be used for text, bars, lines, and pie wedges
Footnotes
Legends
Axis grid lines
No tick marks on X and/or Y axis
Starting point for pie wedges
Fonts and colors for titles, labels, footnotes, and legends
Manually-controlled tick labels
Line widths
Patterns for symbols
