As the WEB access facility is a recent addition to the ESL product, a typical application might be an existing Desktop integration, where a number of back-end applications are combined to form a single application view to the user and a browser based system has been added, or has replaced one of more of the back-end applications. If, for example, your application requires the input of public domain information, such as currency exchange rates, the WEB access facility would remove the need for manual input by allowing such information to be extracted from a WEB page.
