Cuts the current object or group of objects from the Screen Editor and places the object(s) on the Layout Editor's clipboard.
You can then paste the object or group of objects to another location. When you paste an object, the object will retain its name and any insert statements and comments associated with the object. However, if you paste the object multiple times, the Layout Editor will assign a new name to the pasted object each time you paste it and will not paste insert statements and comments. Other attributes of the object remain the same.
Tip
•To cut an object from the Screen Editor, you can also right click on the object, and select Cut from the pop-up menu
