ESL Documentation

The attribute of color specifies the color in which ESL draws the object. Every object has a foreground color; this is the color in which the contents of the object are drawn. If no foreground color is specified, the foreground color is white, except for dialog boxes and dialog controls, which use the colors defined by. In the statement:

 

green key Go at position 10 10

 

green is specified as the foreground color of the key.

 

(When you define a region, you can specify a color for both the foreground and the background. This is discussed below in more detail.)

 

Specify a color by using a color keyword, such as red, or the color keyword followed by a string value representing the color (such as red) or by an integer value representing the color number (such as 1). The standard ESL color keywords and their corresponding numbers are:
