Check boxes appear as hollow or checked boxes with text beside the boxes. They are usually put together into a group. When a user selects a check box, the state of the box is toggled: if the box was checked, it is cleared; if unchecked, it is checked. You can have many checked check boxes within a group, unlike radio buttons. Use the built-in function is checked to query the state of any check box.
