To display the Log for a SAM that you have previously verified or compiled in DB/Assist, follow these steps:

1.Make sure the SAM that you have verified or compiled is still open.
DB/Assist does not save the Log contents across different SAMs in a single DB/Assist session. Therefore, if you save or close the current SAM, then create or open another SAM, and then reopen the previous SAM, the Log contents from the previous SAM have been cleared.

2.Select SQL Access Module Ø View log.
The Log window for the current SAM appears, with status information about your most recent attempt to verify or compile the SAM

3.Check the Log window for status information.

4.Double-click on the system menu to close the Log window.
