QuikStep Command Line Limitation

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Due to a limitation of Windows, the final command line passed to either the compiler or the runtime by ESL QuikStep cannot exceed 120 characters. If the combination of all of the options you specify in the project files dialog and project settings dialog causes the command line to go over 120 characters, you will get a message indicating the length of the command line. When you click Ok on that message, you will then get a dialog with Executable and Command Line fields. You can edit the Command Line field to reduce the number of characters for this particular operation or view the Command Line field to determine which options you can disable in the project settings dialog to reduce the number of characters for all future operations.
